RunGoodGear Poker Series scheduled for the first week of October

Poker professionals are anxiously waiting for the European Poker Tour to resume in August, with Barcelona being the first important stop for the circuit. Meanwhile, it is entirely up to the players to decide whether they will be playing over the Internet or step into land-based casinos for cash games and various tournaments. Poker will return to the United States in November with the final table for the World Series of Poker Main event, but before that RunGoodGear Poker Series will take place.goingforgold

The tournament will be held at the Downstream Casino in October and just a few weeks ago another edition was hosted by the same establishment. Bernard Lee emerged victorious and for his performance he was awarded $47,000, at the end of a tournament that saw him eliminating 344 players. Players will have exactly 2 months to catch their breath or do the exact opposite and play a lot of hands, to be in top shape for the upcoming tournament.

What is certain is that the buy-in will consist of $675 and those who will decide to sit down at the tables of the casino in Hard Rock in Tulsa, Oklahoma will compete for a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. Past performance suggests that this limit will once again be exceeded, so it is very likely that the winner will take home an amount at least as big as the one claimed by Bernard in July.

There will be several side events and even qualifiers for the main tournament, so those who are even remotely interested in poker and happen to live in Oklahoma shouldn’t make plans for early October. It pays off to be around when action resumes and the poker players are expected to swarm the live tables, in an attempt of winning a portion of the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
